Practice, Practice, Practice

One of the Hungarian equivalents to Carnegie Hall is Liszt Academy, where Béla Bartok, Zoltán Kodaly, Sir. Georg Solti, and pretty much every Hungarian classical musician of note (get it?) received training and their professional launch.

We had tickets for the podium – translation: on the stinkin’ stage! 6 feet from some incredibly talented pianists. While their skill didn’t migrate in our direction, the music did. Lovely.
