Living in Japan many years ago, you’d see all sorts of interesting American/English phrases being used in advertising — combinations that, while composed of legitimate words, made absolutely no sense when combined. And then there was “Don’t Pelorian!” which was composed of legitimate AND made-up words. And lots of cats wearing clothes.
The practice is alive and well here — the above is an almost-but-not-quite-parseable (hey, I’m doing it, too!) wad of text, and I’m pretty sure the NFL frowns on posting point spreads on licensed merchandise, but kudos to the Lucas Oil folks for getting their brand out beyond Indianapolis.
