A Day in Győr

We had the opportunity to meet with the European directors of 2Equal1 ministry today, and it was a lovely time. They’re based in Győr, which is a 90 minute train ride from Budapest, a quiet little gem at the confluence of the Danube, Rába and Rábca rivers. We had a couple of hours before our return train, so we were able to do a little sightseeing before sundown. The picture is of the bust reliquaryof Szent Ladislaus and the beautiful stained glass windows of Héderváry Chapel inside the Szent Istvan Bazilika.

Yep, that’s real silver, and no one around to guard it. Good luck with that.
